Sometimes we overcomplicate progress.
We think it has to look dramatic.
A new title. A new job. A huge announcement.
But most real progress?
It’s quiet.
It’s the conversations you show up for even when you are tired.
It’s the clarity you fight for when the brief is a mess.
It’s the decision to back yourself, even when the voice in your head is second-guessing everything.
When I look back at some of the biggest shifts in my own career, they didn’t feel big in the moment.
They felt… small.
Messy.
Uncertain.
It was only later I realised - that email I sent.
That tough conversation I had.
That decision to keep going when it would have been easier to sit still.
Those were the moments that changed everything.
So here’s something practical for today:
Think about where you want to grow next.
And instead of focusing on the big leap - focus on the next step.
One conversation.
One decision.
One small action that moves you closer.
And here’s something motivational to remember:
You’re probably a lot closer than you think.
Progress isn’t measured in noise.
It’s measured in momentum.
And momentum is built one quiet, stubborn step at a time.
